The Congregational Care Commission is given the privilege of being the "keeper of the flock" in terms of providing caring ministry and communicating the needs of our members and extended church family.
The two facets to the ministry are Care Zones and We Care Support. These ministries are carried out by lay members of the congregation and supported by the Staff. These two vital areas are what keep Christ of the Hills "Small Enough to Care, Large Enough to Share".
The Care Zone Ministry is the heart of the church, for it is through this ministry that people learn in specific ways that God and the Church cares for them. Needs arise from death, illness, hospitalization, hardship, new and inactive membership and the ministry will respond in a specific manner to show care and concern. God will accomplish His will and purpose through this ministry.
Christ of the Hills membership is organized into geographical Care Zones for the purpose of providing support to one another during times of illness, death or other needs as well as having a group within your neighborhood to enjoy opportunities for fellowship and fun. Each care zone is cared for and led by Care Zone Leaders and Assistant Leaders. Having so many eyes and ears in contact with members is a huge aid in keeping pastoral staff aware of any needs or concerns that need to be addressed.

The WE CARE Inreach Ministry touches and lifts the lives of our members, continuing visitors and extended family in times of illness, grief, and hospitalization as well as in times of joy and celebration. The We Care Ministry touches each member at Christ of the Hills and has many volunteers who serve with care and compassion. This is accomplished through the following ministries: Bereavement Team, Caring Hands, Celebrations, Continuing Care, Home Communion, Lay Hospital Visitation, Love Links, Support Groups, Prayer Ministries , Welcome and Photo Team, and New Member Follow-up.
