Christ of the Hills is a mission-oriented church and mission opportunities abound. Mission opportunities range from extended-stay group mission trips to out of-area destinations such as Haiti, Costa Rica and Baldwin, Louisiana to single-day small group mission experiences within the central Arkansas area such as working at Arkansas Foodbank, Habitat for Humanity, Jackson House, Love Lunches and Methodist Outreach.  Groups participate in many areas during various days of the week which allows ample opportunities to volunteer for those with busy schedules.

We are proud to have had among our membership four men who were named Habitat for Humanity Volunteer of the Year. Joe Allen, 2009; Gene Litchliter, 2010;  Ade DeHaan, 2012 and Glen Phillips, 2013.

For those who may not be able to participate in more physically challenging areas, there are several groups who knit and crochet items for wounded veterans and Arkansas Children's Hospital, sew and assemble school bags and layettes for distribution through the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) and assist with other activities they can do from home.
