Minister of Music
Kenny McKay, a native Arkansan, is a graduate of East Texas Baptist University with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal performance and has completed graduate studies in Vocal Performance at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He has sung with opera companies in Shreveport, Louisiana and Ft. Worth Texas, served on the voice faculty of Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida and worked as the Associate Conductor of the renowned Bach Festival Choir of Winter Park, Florida. Kenny is an ordained and licensed minister and has served since 1980 as music minister in churches in Texas, Florida and Arkansas directing youth and adult choirs and orchestras. Although he has excelled and performed in many venues, his passion is for music that exalts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Kenny and his wife, Diania, live in Hot Springs he has two daughters, Kristen and Melissa, a stepson Chris and two grandsons, Christian and Aiden. He enjoys traveling, watching sports, spending time and playing games with his grandsons, relaxing on Lake Hamilton and listening to and composing Christian Music.
