The United Methodist Men (UMM) is a creative, supportive fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually, and to seek daily to do his will. Christ of the Hills United Methodist Men’s group is chartered with the General Commission on United Methodist Men and has an important role in our church. Over one hundred men are active in the group and all men are encouraged to participate. Our primary purpose is to declare the centrality of Christ in our lives as men and in all our relationships.
We meet on the second Friday of each month at 7:30 a.m. May-Oct. and 8:30 a.m. Nov.-April for breakfast, fellowship, devotion and a brief program. The UMM is always ready to pitch in and help whenever they can serve the church and support God’s work.
All men are welcome to join us on the 1st and 3rd Thursday and Friday (you may come on any or all of these days) to travel to the Arkansas Food Bank in Little Rock. We help package and label food and prepare backpacks and parcels to be sent out to needy families in Arkansas. We meet in the upper parking lot of the church at 8 a.m. and are usually home around noon.
